The 2014 STIHL® TIMBERSPORTS® World Championship in Innsbruck

Strong athletes, powerful saws, sharp axes and an enthusiastic crowd: The 2014 STIHL® TIMBERSPORTS® World Championship served up a number of exciting highlights. After a rousing World Championship in Stuttgart in 2013, this year’s competition returned with thrilling contests and beaming winners.

Jason Wynyard from New Zealand locked up a well-deserved gold medal in the individual after a nerve-wracking finale, leaving Martin Komarek (CZ) and Brad Delosa (AUS) to pick up the silver and the bronze.

A great crowd was on hand to watch the final round of the team competitions and cheered on as the team from Australia came out on top.
