A complete success for STIHL: In the 31st World Logging Championships, 26 out of 36 medals in the individual competitions went to STIHL athletes. Uli Huber (Germany) secured the gold medal in the overall rankings and the German national team – an all STIHL team – took the title in the team competition. 9 gold, 9 silver and 8 bronze medals was the outstanding total at the end of the contests, which took place in Brienz (Switzerland) from 11 to 13 September 2014.

About the logging championships
In the 1970s, a professional skills competition for forestry workers was created that tested five disciplines based on their daily work. Those are: tree felling, chain fitting, bucking by combined cuts, precision bucking and limbing.
Here you can find an overview of all disciplines of the world logging championships.
I like know what kind of bar use the guys for precision bucking.
Thanks
Hello Flavio,
Thank you for your comment.
The bar used for the discipline ‘precision bucking’ is a special series.
It is developed for requirements of the logging championships exclusively and therefore it is only available for participants.
Best regards,
your STIHL team
