  2. Good day i have trimmer FS130 from 2009 year. This machine worked 102 hours and break down.Actually exhaust v/v break down and damage cylinder and piston.I have to by new cylinder,piston,suction/exhaust v/v rocker arms etc. According your dealer in Monetenegro (Podgorica) price for cylinder and piston is around 180 euro plus all other parts.I understand that this parts are basic parts of machine but repair will become close to 300 euros,this machine was paid 550euros in september 2009.Is it possible that is so expensive.For me it is very strange that was happend after only 102 hours,because it was not used so often because ,more than half year i am not at home.I belive that I use this machine realy hard from beginning this will happend in waranty time.I am thinking now what to do, to by new machine or to repair this “old” one.Can you help me with my decision.

Good day,thank you for your reply,definitely i will not contact you if i can have help from your diler in Podgorica.They just told me the price for new cylinder and piston and he is not any more intersted to talk except to ask me why I by that model of trimmer, not another one.Honeslly i am little disapointed.I trust STIHL for long time,and i have chain sow same STIHL but now I am not shure what to do .Even f I buy new trimer how to be shure that it will be good and that i will not have problem like now.Nowbody is intersted to find reason why is happend after so short time.However never mind,sorry for disturbing and best regards.

  4. i am cutting some small trees down on Friday afternoon what type of safety gear should i have and if i don’t have it what do you recommend and where to get it i live in canada

      Safety should always be a priority when working with chainsaws.
      When you operating with a chainsaw, you need face, ear and head protection, for example the STIHL EXPERT helmet set (
      Please also use safety gloves with cut protection and wear forestry protective clothing and chainsaw boots.

I purchased a blower about 5 or 6 weeks ago it cuts off won’t run had to take it back after a week throttle was low now will not run when I purchased they never ask me about gas or oil gave me floor model my site soon told me about the gas oil he gave the Stihl product it was never mentioned at the store I wished I had never purchased I always been told it was a good product

  6. Greetings! Our farm on the island of Dominica was hit pretty hard by Hurricane Maria, and I need to send my caretaker there a Stihl chainsaw, I am looking at the MS 251 WOOD BOSS for him, but I do not know if it is better to buy it in Dominica (there was a dealer there a while ago), not sure if it is still there, or if there is another place I can get it where it will not cost an arm and a leg to get it there? Need some serious advice on this matter, will appreciate any feedback! Thanks!
