The STIHL MSE 170 C, MSE 190 C and MSE 210 C models are especially well-suited for sawing jobs around the house, yard or garden, and they make cutting firewood a snap. If you use your saw more often or professionally, then the STIHL MSE 230 C is the tool for you, managing tasks such as trimming lumber quickly but precisely. All of the new models share impressive cutting performance, controlled handling, improved features and modern design.
Powerful and tough
Powerful electric motor
Stronger, faster, better: Thanks to their higher output and chain speeds, the new STIHL electric chain saws provide up to 20% higher cutting performance compared to older models.
Long service life
Metal beats the test of time: new gears, featuring metal teeth, make the saws even more robust and longer lasting than ever.
Comfortable and under control
Ergonomic soft grip
Get a (soft) grip: All the new STIHL electric chain saws have an ergonomically shaped soft grip in the rear part of the handle, giving you a firm grip and perfect control.
Stable bumper spike
Safe, precise sawing: A bumper spike fixes the tool to the wood so you can rely on exact cutting precision.
STIHL QuickStop Super chain brake
Super effective: As soon as you let go of the rear switch lever, the chain brake shuts off the electric motor and the saw chain comes to a complete stop.
Easy to use and intelligent
Tool-free quick chain tensioning
The saw chain can be adjusted without any tool. (Feature not available on MSE 170 C-Q and MSE 190 C-Q)
Intelligent overload protection
High performance without overloading: If your electric chain saw starts to overheat, it automatically shuts off the motor by activating the red overload button. On the MSE 230 C, the red LED indicates overload or overheating. The motor cools down in just a few moments so that you can get back to work quickly.
Start smart before you start sawing: The starting current limitation reduces the power draw when you turn on the chain saw, so you can even use your saw in weaker power circuits.
